Ammonia Safety
Why ammonia safety training is important:
Ammonia safety training is essential because workers need to have a firm understanding of the proper storage, transportation, and usage of refrigerants in order to create and maintain a safe work environment. Few problems occur when the ammonia is being handled and applied as intended. Most accidents are caused by improper procedures, careless or untrained workers, or faulty equipment. Those who work with anhydrous ammonia must be trained to follow exact procedures when handling it. With proper ammonia safety training and procedures in place, ammonia can be a very safe and efficient energy source.
