This 3-1/2 day course delves into OSHA's Process Safety Management and EPA's Risk Management Plan requirements. It covers each PSM/ RMP element in depth and provides students with the knowledge on how to develop and implement code compliant programs and operating procedures. Attendees learn how to advance their existing programs or establish a new one at their facility. PDH: 24.

Materials Ammonia Refrigeration and HAZWOPER Combo
This 5-day course combines "Ammonia Refrigeration" and "HAZWOPER Hazardous Material Technician Training." It's essential for entry-level industrial refrigeration operators, PSM/RMP personnel, and responders to ammonia incidents. Materials Outline HAZWOPER 24
In this 24 HR course, students learn the requirements for responding to hazardous chemical releases per OSHA's definition of hazardous materials technicians. Training includes classroom and hands-on sessions in an operational ammonia plant, covering OSHA's HAZWOPER standard 1910.120(q). Students acquire skills to respond to and contain ammonia releases and engage in live emergency response drills.

Materials Outline Operator I
This second-level course dives into the provided RETA Industrial Refrigeration 1 book. The 4-1/2 days of training will cover all CARO exam topics and provide in depth information about the core refrigeration components. Students take an exam on the final day and receive a certificate upon passing. Optional RETA CARO exam available for an additional fee.
Completion of the Ammonia Refrigeration course is recommended. PDH: 36.

Materials Outline Operator II
This third-level course prepares attendees to comprehensively understand, analyze, and troubleshoot industrial refrigeration systems. Each student receives RETA's Industrial Refrigeration 2 book. The 4-1/2 days of training covers CIRO exam topics and will prepare students to take on the problems associated with maintaining an efficient industrial refrigeration system. Students will take an exam and receive a certificate upon passing. Optional RETA CIRO exam available for an additional fee.
Prerequisite: Operator I or RETA's CARO certification. RETA Basic Electricity Book 1, 2, and Industrial Refrigeration Book 4 are included on the CIRO exam but are not provided or covered as part of this class. PDH: 36.

Materials Outline CO2 Refrigeration
This 4-day CO2 course will provide a thorough understanding of CO2 refrigeration systems and added hands-on time in our CO2 lab. It gives a broad introduction of the fundamental knowledge required to operate carbon dioxide systems. This course encompasses specific properties of CO2, safety, design, installation and maintenance. It also includes the advantages of using CO2, and the functionality of different types of refrigeration systems, especially cascade and transcritical. This class is recommended for anyone already working with CO2 refrigeration systems, those looking for more information on CO2 refrigeration systems, or those that have attended at least of our refrigeration classes (Ammonia Refrigeration, Operator I or SOP).
