This 8-hour refresher course is for students who have completed the 24-hour Hazardous Material Technician Training and who would like a classroom based refresher course to fulfill their refresher training requirement.

This 4-day CO2 course will provide a thorough understanding of CO2 refrigeration systems and added hands-on time in our CO2 lab. It gives a broad introduction of the fundamental knowledge required to operate carbon dioxide systems. This course encompasses specific properties of CO2, safety, design, installation and maintenance. It also includes the advantages of using CO2, and the functionality of different types of refrigeration systems, especially cascade and transcritical. This class is recommended for anyone already working with CO2 refrigeration systems, those looking for more information on CO2 refrigeration systems, or those that have attended at least of our refrigeration classes (Ammonia Refrigeration, Operator I or SOP).  PDH: 30
