In last week's class, the students learned about recirculators, high pressure receivers, and thermosiphon receiver vessels and piping.  The class enjoyed taking on the task of oil pot draining.

This week's class learned the fundamentals of industrial refrigeration including compressor, condenser, pump and evaporator operation and maintenance.  The students received hands-on training and participated in live emergency response drills in IRTC's full scale ammonia refrigeration system, which is a fully functional ammonia plant on campus.
