    SOP, PSM/RMP, and RAGAGEP Sept. 2018

    This week, IRTC is training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Mechanical Integrity Inspections, Process Safety Management (PSM)/Risk Management Program regulation requirements, and ammonia industry codes and standards.

    We provide hands-on training with our fully operational ammonia refrigeration system.

    This includes: initial startup, normal operations, temporary operations, emergency shutdown, emergency operations, normal shutdown, safe work practices, equipment and more.

    This course, titled SOP, PSM/RMP, and RAGAGEP, is also valuable to people assigned to writing site specific SOPs and mechanical integrity procedures and inspections.

    Operator II August 2018

    Operator II is very interactive and hands-on. This course is more advanced; it has more lab time and lab tasks than the typical class.

    This week, students are learning about heat flow, moisture, flooded systems, how to pump out and maintain valve stations — and that’s just a few topics.

    Operator I August 2018

    Last week, students took part in the Operator I course. In this course, you learn about refrigeration fundamentals, the refrigeration cycle, direct expansion, energy savings and more.

    After the 4 ½ day course, students are given an exam and, once passed, will be awarded a certificate.
